I was guessing that the software on the DVD being version 9 is having problems becasue my system has a newer version. I have Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) if that information is needed. IF you let Windows install the drivers it will not work Plug the device in and delete the entry for it it in the Device Manager. It took me a while to figure out how to check my version but my system has DirectX 10 on it. It asked for my CD Key number and started just like it did before - but once again crashed when it came to installing DirectX - with an interupt error again.Īs I watched the installation I noticed that it was trying to install DirectX 9 when it crashes. I then went back to run the DVD to install the program. I asked Roxio for help and I was directed to download and install the drivers for the Roxio Video Capture USB. To install program at a later time, please run installation agan" Each time I try to install the Software for VHS to DVD it crashes with a dialog box that states - "Roxio setup was interrupted.
